What is a Generic Drug?

Take indomethacin exactly as directed by your physician. Example dosages are below:

  • Moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis including acute flares of chronic disease: 25 mg by mouth two to three times daily.
  • Moderate to severe ankylosing spondylitis: 25 mg by mouth two to three times daily.
  • Moderate to severe osteoarthritis: 25 mg by mouth two to three times daily.
  • Acute painful shoulder: 75-150 mg two to three times daily.
  • Acute gouty arthritis: 50 mg three times daily.
