Terms & Conditions of Program
A generic drug is a copy of the brand-name drug with the same dosage, safety, strength, quality, consumption method, performance, and intended use. Before generics become available on the market, the generic company must prove it has the same active ingredients as the brand-name drug and works in the same way and in the same amount of time in the body.
The only differences between generics and their brand-name counterparts is that generics are less expensive and may look slightly different (eg. different shape or color), as trademarks laws prevent a generic from looking exactly like the brand-name drug.
Generics are less expensive because generic manufacturers don't have to invest large sums of money to develop a drug. When the brand-name patent expires, generic companies can manufacture a copy of the brand-name and sell it at a substantial discount.
VIZZ (aceclidine ophthalmic solution 1.44%) is an innovative prescription eye drop designed to address presbyopia, the natural age-related decline in near vision. This once-daily treatment begins working in as little as 30 minutes and can provide clearer, sharper close-up vision for up to 10 hours. The active ingredient, aceclidine, is a cholinergic agent that gently contracts the eye’s pupil. By creating a pinhole effect, it improves depth of focus and helps reduce the blur many people notice when reading or viewing objects up close. Clinical research, including the CLARITY trials, has shown that VIZZ delivers consistent improvements in near visual acuity with a favorable safety profile.

Place one drop in each eye once per day, preferably at the same time. Wait at least two minutes before applying a second drop in each eye if directed by your healthcare provider. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before use and wait at least 10 minutes before reinserting. When using other eye medications, allow a gap of five minutes or more between products. Avoid touching the tip of the bottle to your eye or hands to maintain sterility. Discard each single-use vial after opening.
Active Ingredient: Aceclidine hydrochloride 1.44%. Other Ingredients: Polysorbate 80, mannitol, hypromellose, edetate disodium dihydrate, purified water. May also contain small amounts of hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide to adjust pH. Packaged in sterile, preservative-free single-use vials for safety and convenience.
Separate the use of VIZZ from other eye drops by at least five minutes. Contact lens wearers should remove lenses before application and reinsert them after ten minutes. Always inform your healthcare provider of any medications or eye treatments you are using to avoid possible interactions.
Temporary blurred or dim vision may occur after use. Wait until your vision clears before driving or operating machinery. Rarely, individuals with certain eye conditions may be at higher risk of retinal detachment. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice sudden flashes of light, new floaters, or a curtain-like shadow in your vision. If you have a history of eye inflammation (iritis or uveitis) or known allergies to any ingredients, consult your doctor before use. Each vial is for single use only and should not be reused.
While generally well tolerated, some people may experience mild eye irritation or discomfort (about 20%), temporary dimming of vision (around 16%), headache (about 13%), or eye redness and pressure (around 7–8%). These effects are usually short-lived, but you should contact your healthcare provider if they persist or worsen.
