Routes of administration



Inhale the contents of one inhalation once daily or as directed by your doctor.

Rinse the mouth with water after inhalation. Spit and do not swallow the water used to rinse. Rinsing helps to prevent oral candidiasis (thrush) from developing in the mouth.


The active ingredients in TRELEGY ELLIPTA are fluticasone furoate, umeclidinium, and vilanterol trifenatate.


Drug-drug interactions with TRELEGY may include:

  • Anticholinergics
  • Beta-blockers
  • Diuretics
  • Monoamine-oxidase inhibitors
  • Tricyclic antidepressants


Do not use TRELEGY if you have a known allergy to milk or milk products.

Do not use to treat acute bronchospasm. Short-acting or rescue inhalers should be used to treat acute bronchospasm.

TRELEGY may increase the risk of developing pneumonia in patients with COPD.

Tell your doctor if you have any current long-term infections like tuberculosis, herpes, HIV, or hepatitis. TRELEGY should be used with caution and may contribute to the reactivation of the infection.

If you experience increased trouble breathing (bronchospasm) while taking this medication, stop taking it, and tell your doctor.
