What is a Generic Drug?

Description

Tezspire (tezepelumab-ekko) is a medication administered via subcutaneous injection (underneath the skin) for the treatment of severe asthma in adults and pediatric patients who are 12+ years old.

Tezspire subcutaneous injection is available in the following:

  • 210 mg/1.91 mL(110 mg/mL) solution in a single-dose pre-filled syringe
  • 210 mg/1.91 mL(110 mg/mL) solution a single-dose pre-filled pen

Tezspire Mechanism of Action: Tezspire works by blocking thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP), which is associated with inflammation. When TSLP is blocked, inflammation in the airways decreases, making it easier to breathe. However, Tezspire’s mechanism of action in asthma has not been definitively established.

Ingredients
