The typical dose of Striverdi Respimat is to inhale two puffs by mouth once daily at the same time each day.

Ingredients

The active ingredient in Striverdi Respimat is olodaterol, a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist. 

Contraindications

Striverdi Respimat should not be used to treat asthma.

Cautions

  • Striverdi Respimat has FDA Boxed Warnings associated with an increased risk of asthma-related death.
  • Before you begin treatment with Striverdi Respimat, tell your doctor about:
    • All the medications you take 
    • Your allergies
    • Your medical history and current health problems
    • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Use Striverdi Respimat as your doctor has prescribed. You should not use more than the recommended dose; doing so can lead to severe heart problems that may lead to death.
  • Do not use Striverdi Respimat to treat acute worsening of COPD.
  • Severe airway constriction can occur immediately after using Striverdi Respimat. Stop using Striverdi Respimat and seek medical care right away if this occurs.
  • Patients with seizure disorders, thyroid problems, or sensitivity to medications that impact the sympathetic nervous system should use caution when using Striverdi Respimat.

Side Effects

Striverdi Respimat side effects include a cold, upper respiratory tract infection, bronchitis, urinary tract infection, cough, dizziness, rash, diarrhea, back pain, and joint pain. If you experience side effects that bother you or won't go away, call your doctor immediately.
