Take Rezurock once daily by mouth with or without food. The standard dosage is 200 mg taken at the same time each day. A doctor or healthcare provider may need to adjust the dose based on how well the medication is tolerated or if certain side effects develop. Swallow the tablets whole and don't crush, break, or chew them. Store the medication at room temperature away from moisture and heat.

Side Effects

The most common side effects of Rezurock seen in studies include infections, tiredness or weakness, nausea, diarrhea, cough, shortness of breath, swelling, and muscle or joint pain. Some people also reported headache, stomach pain, rash, itching, or changes in blood pressure. Blood tests sometimes showed low phosphate, fewer lymphocytes, or higher liver enzyme levels.

More serious side effects may also happen and can lead to stopping or changing treatment. These include severe infections, heavy bleeding, trouble breathing, and problems with liver or kidney function. In rare cases, severe stomach or intestinal symptoms and multi-organ failure have been reported. Consult a healthcare provider if serious reactions develop.
