Start by taking 1 mg by mouth once daily. The dose should slowly be increased to a maximum of 4 mg by mouth once daily.

MAVIK should not be used by women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. MAVIK may be fatal to a developing fetus and should be stopped immediately when pregnancy is detected.
