What is a Generic Drug?

A generic drug is a copy of the brand-name drug with the same dosage, safety, strength, quality, consumption method, performance, and intended use. Before generics become available on the market, the generic company must prove it has the same active ingredients as the brand-name drug and works in the same way and in the same amount of time in the body.

The only differences between generics and their brand-name counterparts is that generics are less expensive and may look slightly different (eg. different shape or color), as trademarks laws prevent a generic from looking exactly like the brand-name drug.

Generics are less expensive because generic manufacturers don't have to invest large sums of money to develop a drug. When the brand-name patent expires, generic companies can manufacture a copy of the brand-name and sell it at a substantial discount.

Description

Lenvima is a prescription medication for cancer treatment and most commonly used to treat differentiated thyroid cancer or for renal cell carcinoma treatment. It may also be indicated for HCC liver cancer when tumor removal by surgery is not possible. The active ingredient in this medication is Lenvatinib, and it works by blocking cancer cell signals by targeting proteins on the cells so that the tumor is unable to grow and spread as readily. Lenvima may be used concurrently with Everolimus when prescribed for RCC kidney cancer treatment.

You can buy Lenvima with a prescription, and your lowest Lenvima cost on it will be when you order medication online from us.

Directions

Standard dosage is to take 1 Lenvima tablet once daily, and taken with or without food. Lenvima may be taken in 10mg, 12mg, 14mg, or 18mg dosage strengths, and your dosage will depend on a number of factors as determined by your doctor. Always take your medication exactly as shown in your prescription, and when you are taking medication to aid with cancer treatments it is important to not miss doses.
