Terms & Conditions of Program
A generic drug is a copy of the brand-name drug with the same dosage, safety, strength, quality, consumption method, performance, and intended use. Before generics become available on the market, the generic company must prove it has the same active ingredients as the brand-name drug and works in the same way and in the same amount of time in the body.
The only differences between generics and their brand-name counterparts is that generics are less expensive and may look slightly different (eg. different shape or color), as trademarks laws prevent a generic from looking exactly like the brand-name drug.
Generics are less expensive because generic manufacturers don't have to invest large sums of money to develop a drug. When the brand-name patent expires, generic companies can manufacture a copy of the brand-name and sell it at a substantial discount.
This medicated shampoo is developed for dogs, cats, and horses to help manage skin problems caused by bacteria, fungi, and excess oil. It contains three active ingredients—ketoconazole, chlorhexidine gluconate, and cetrimide—that work together to reduce germs, soothe itching, and improve skin health. The shampoo is commonly used to treat problems like flaking, odor, itching, and dandruff. This product is meant for animal use only and should be applied according to the instructions on the label.
Thoroughly wet your dog, cat, or horse with clean water. Massage the shampoo into the coat at several spots, focusing on the lips, under the tail, and between the toes, until a good lather forms. Let the shampoo sit for 10 minutes while keeping your pet as still as possible, then rinse off completely with clean water. Allow the coat to air dry in a warm, draft-free area. A 200 mL bottle provides about 6 to 13 washes for a 15 kg dog, 4 to 8 washes for a 25 kg dog, or up to 20 washes for a cat, depending on coat thickness.
This shampoo contains the active ingredients ketoconazole, chlorhexidine gluconate, and cetrimide.

Side effects from this shampoo are generally mild and uncommon, but they can occur in some pets. The most frequently reported side effects include temporary redness, itching, or a dry, flaky feeling at the application site. Some animals may also experience a slight burning or stinging sensation after use.
In rare cases, pets may develop an allergic reaction or more severe skin irritation, especially those with existing skin allergies or atopy. Signs such as intense itching, swelling, or worsening redness should be reported to your veterinarian right away. To reduce the risk of side effects, avoid contact with the eyes and mouth, prevent licking until the coat is dry, and stop using the product if irritation continues or worsens.
