What is a Generic Drug?

A generic drug is a copy of the brand-name drug with the same dosage, safety, strength, quality, consumption method, performance, and intended use. Heparin Leo is a prescription DVT prevention medication used to prevent blood clots for people who are at risk of deep vein thrombosis or a pulmonary embolism. It is an anticoagulant that prevent platelets clumping together in the blood and forming clots that are extremely dangerous if they begin to travel into the lungs, heart, or brain after building up in arteries. Side Effects
