Description

F-Shield Natural Herbal Shampoo is a shampoo for dogs that helps keep away fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes. It uses natural plant oils like cinnamon, rosemary, cedarwood, eucalyptus, clove, peppermint, safflower, and lemon, along with vitamin E. These ingredients work together to repel pests and keep your pet’s coat clean and healthy. The shampoo also has a pleasant cinnamon smell that helps control odors. It is safe for dogs older than 12 weeks and is gentle on their skin because it matches the natural pH level of dogs.

Directions

Start by wetting the pet’s coat thoroughly with warm water. Apply the shampoo evenly, beginning at the tail and working up toward the head, making sure to gently massage it deep into the fur and skin. Leave the shampoo on for several minutes before rinsing well with clean, warm water. Apply enough shampoo to create a rich lather covering the whole coat. Avoid contact with the pet’s eyes, and wash out immediately with cold water if the product gets in.

Ingredients

F-Shield contains the active ingredients cinnamon oil, rosemary oil, cedarwood oil, lemon, eucalyptus oil, clove oil, peppermint oil, safflower oil, and vitamin E.

Contraindications

Avoid giving this medication in dogs and cats in which the following apply:

• The pet is younger than 12 weeks old
• The pet has known allergies to any listed ingredients
• The pet has open wounds or broken skin
• The pet has had prior adverse reactions to essential oils or herbal shampoos

Cautions

Before using F-Shield, keep the following in mind:

• If a pet has sensitive skin or allergies, consult a veterinarian before first use.
• Avoid contact with the pet’s eyes. If shampoo enters the eyes, wash thoroughly with cold water.
• Do not let pets swallow the shampoo. If accidental swallowing occurs, induce vomiting under veterinary guidance.
• Do not use on puppies under 12 weeks old.
• Store the product below 30°C and out of reach of children.
• Use only on pets and not on humans or other animals.
• Watch for redness, itching, rash, or irritation after use, and stop use if these appear.
• Follow dosage and usage directions as described on the packaging.
• Use clean, warm water to rinse all shampoo from the pet’s coat to avoid residue.

Side Effects

F-Shield Natural Herbal Shampoo may cause mild side effects in some pets. The most common issues can include temporary skin irritation, redness, or itchiness, especially in pets with very sensitive skin. Some dogs may also experience mild dryness after bathing.

Serious side effects are rare but can occur. Pets may have allergic reactions such as swelling, severe itching, or hives. If the shampoo gets into the eyes, it may cause irritation and discomfort, which should be managed by rinsing the eyes thoroughly with water. Pets who swallow the shampoo may develop vomiting or other digestive problems and require immediate veterinary care.
