What is a Generic Drug?

A generic drug is a copy of the brand-name drug with the same dosage, safety, strength, quality, consumption method, performance, and intended use. These syringes have large, bold, easy-to-read permanent markings for accurate dosage and lubricated needles that are permanently attached for injection comfort. Directions

Insert needle of each syringe into your pet insulin vial and draw the plunger handle back to fill the syringe with the correct amount of insulin. This amount will be based on the Carepoint vet insulin syringes dosage amount shown in your pet's prescription.

Remove needle from vial and hold plunger handle steady while readying to administer injection.

Give injection at suggested administration site based on veterinarian instruction and what is shown in your prescription. Administration site may vary based on animal and their age / health.

Be aware of when to dispose of syringe, information which will also be shared in your prescription.

Only remove needle cap when ready to administer injection, and always replace cap immediately following it.

Side Effects

Some animals may experience skin sensitivity or irritation at the injection site. If this happens it may be advisable to temporarily discontinue use while speaking to a veterinarian about relieving this side effect or another means of providing your pet with insulin.
