Terms & Conditions of Program
A generic drug is a copy of the brand-name drug with the same dosage, safety, strength, quality, consumption method, performance, and intended use. Before generics become available on the market, the generic company must prove it has the same active ingredients as the brand-name drug and works in the same way and in the same amount of time in the body.
The only differences between generics and their brand-name counterparts is that generics are less expensive and may look slightly different (eg. different shape or color), as trademarks laws prevent a generic from looking exactly like the brand-name drug.
Generics are less expensive because generic manufacturers don't have to invest large sums of money to develop a drug. When the brand-name patent expires, generic companies can manufacture a copy of the brand-name and sell it at a substantial discount.

The usual starting dose is one tablet by mouth once daily for three days, then increased to one tablet twice daily. Tablets must be swallowed whole and not crushed, split, or chewed. Patients should follow their doctor’s instructions carefully and should not stop the medication abruptly without consulting their provider.
Each tablet contains two active ingredients: dextromethorphan hydrobromide and bupropion hydrochloride. Additional inactive ingredients are included to stabilize the formulation and aid absorption.
Auvelity may interact with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), other antidepressants, antipsychotics, alcohol, and strong CYP2D6 inhibitors. Patients should inform their doctor of all current medications, supplements, and over-the-counter products to avoid potential complications.
Patients with a history of seizures, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, or substance withdrawal should discuss risks with their doctor before taking Auvelity. The medication may raise blood pressure and cause insomnia or dizziness. Auvelity cost may vary, but Canada Drugs Direct makes this medication accessible with trusted delivery. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use.
Auvelity side effects can include dry mouth, constipation, dizziness, sleep disturbances, fatigue, and sweating. Less common but serious risks include mood changes, high blood pressure, or suicidal thoughts in younger adults. Any unusual or severe reactions should be reported immediately to a healthcare provider.
