Anusol Plus is applied as an ointment directly to the affected area. Clean the area with mild soap and water, patting dry before application. Apply the ointment externally to the affected area up to 5 times daily, especially at night, in the morning, and after each bowel movement. For optimal results and comfort, apply the ointment using a fingertip or a cotton swab, making sure to cover the entire affected region. Avoid using excessive pressure during application to prevent further irritation.
Anusol Plus hemorrhoidal ointment with anesthetic contains the active ingredients zinc sulfate and pramoxine hydrochloride.
Do not use Anusol Plus if you are allergic to zinc sulfate, pramoxine hydrochloride, or any other ingredient in Anusol Plus.
Some possible side effects of Anusol Plus include minor skin irritation, redness, or a temporary burning sensation at the application site.
