Terms & Conditions of Program
A generic drug is a copy of the brand-name drug with the same dosage, safety, strength, quality, consumption method, performance, and intended use. Before generics become available on the market, the generic company must prove it has the same active ingredients as the brand-name drug and works in the same way and in the same amount of time in the body.
The only differences between generics and their brand-name counterparts is that generics are less expensive and may look slightly different (eg. different shape or color), as trademarks laws prevent a generic from looking exactly like the brand-name drug.
Generics are less expensive because generic manufacturers don't have to invest large sums of money to develop a drug. When the brand-name patent expires, generic companies can manufacture a copy of the brand-name and sell it at a substantial discount.
Anoro Elipta is a prescription medication for COPD treatment along with bronchitis and emphysema. The Anoro Elipta inhaler is effective for improving lung function both during the day and overnight. It is a once-daily COPD maintenance inhaler and is not a rescue inhaler for instant relief from COPD breathing difficulties. Anoro Elipta is for treatment of bronchitis and emphysema too but be aware that Anoro Elipta is not an asthma inhaler. You can buy Anoro Elipta with a prescription at most pharmacies and your doctor will be able to determine the correct Anoro Elipta dose for you.
Open the tray on your Anoro Elipta inhaler by peeling the lid back. Fully open the cover of the inhaler until you hear a clicking sound and see the number on the counter on the front of the inhaler go down by 1. (Inhaler will come with 30 doses).
Each time you open the cover, 1 dose of medicine is prepared.
Do not take another dose from the inhaler. You can never take more than one dose at a time.
The active ingredients in Anoro Elipta Inhaler are umeclidinium and vilanterol.
Do not exceed the dosage regulations for Anoro Elipta. Meaning that you only use this COPD inhaler once a day. Using Anoro Elipta to treat sudden symptoms of COPD will be ineffective. Always have a rescue inhaler with you to treat sudden symptoms.
Do not use an Anoro Elipta inhaler if you have a severe allergy to milk proteins or are allergic to any of the ingredients in the medication.
Be aware of interaction risks between Anoro Elipta and certain Rx medications that contain a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA) or an anticholinergic for any reason. You are advised to inform your physician of all medications you are currently taking when you have an initial doctor consultation regarding COPD inhalers and before you buy Anoro Elipta.
Side effects from an Anoro Elipta dose are rare for most users, but some may experience chest pain, increased blood pressure, fast or irregular heartbeat, headache, tremor, or nervousness.
If you experience these side effects, you should discontinue use and speak to your physician regarding other COPD treatment options.
