Terms & Conditions of Program
A generic drug is a copy of the brand-name drug with the same dosage, safety, strength, quality, consumption method, performance, and intended use. Before generics become available on the market, the generic company must prove it has the same active ingredients as the brand-name drug and works in the same way and in the same amount of time in the body.
The only differences between generics and their brand-name counterparts is that generics are less expensive and may look slightly different (eg. different shape or color), as trademarks laws prevent a generic from looking exactly like the brand-name drug.
Generics are less expensive because generic manufacturers don't have to invest large sums of money to develop a drug. When the brand-name patent expires, generic companies can manufacture a copy of the brand-name and sell it at a substantial discount.
Ajovy is a prescription medication that is injected to reduce the severity of migraine headaches. It is a CGRP (calcitonin gene-related peptide) antagonist class medication that blocks the CGRP peptide and stops it from attaching to the receptor so that the neural overexcitation that causes migraine headaches is prevented. It is proven effective for monthly migraine relief, and it is common for this migraine injection to offer better migraine prevention than many more standard medications.
Ajovy is injected 1x per month. This dosage regulation should not be exceeded.
Remove autoinjector from carton. Autoinjector must reach room temperature before injecting and giving it 30 minutes to reach that temperature before injection is required.
Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water.
Suitable injections sites are only thigh / outer area of upper arm / abdomen (excluding a 2” area around the navel).
Pull cap on injector off when you are ready to inject and stretch skin at injection site to create a firm surface of skin over injection spot.
Place the injector's safety guard onto skin at a 90-degree angle.
Firmly push down the autoinjector onto skin until it stops moving.
First click sound will indicate injection is underway along with blue plunger beginning to move.
Listen for second click sound that occurs as blue plunger nears bottom of viewing window.
Allow 10 seconds to pass after second click to ensure injection is completed.
The active ingredient in Ajovy is Fremanezumab-Vrfm.
Inform your doctor of any history of high blood pressure or allergies to latex before starting on Ajovy.

Medication is not to be shaken or frozen.
Medication is only to be taken 1x per month. Never exceed this dosage regulation and understand this migraine headache injection is only to be injected in one of the 3 proper injection spots - abdomen, back of upper arm, or thigh.
Be aware of medication's expiry date.
Negative drug interaction risks are possible between Ajovy and other Rx medications including efgartigimod alfa. Be sure to inform your doctor of all medications you are currently taking before getting a prescription and proceeding to buy Ajovy injection online.
Ajovy side effects are uncommon, but some users may have constipation, muscle or back pain, muscle spasm or cramps, or symptoms of the flu. If Ajovy side effects are seen you may want to discontinue use and speak to your doctor again about migraine headache treatment alternatives.
