Directions

Use Acuvail as your doctor has prescribed.

Recommended dosing: Apply one drop to the affected eye twice daily; begin one day before cataract surgery and continue through the first two weeks following surgery.

Do not wear contact lenses while administering Acuvail.

For additional usage instructions, consult the medication leaflet included with your Acuvail prescription.

Keep Acuvail stored between 15oC and 30oC (59oF and 86oF) in the pouch; keep the pouch ends folded closed and store out of light. Immediately use the solution from one single-dose vial upon opening; dispose of any remainder.

Ingredients

Ketorolac tromethamine, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, is the active ingredient in Acuvail.

Contraindications

Acuvail should not be used in patients who are allergic to any of its ingredients.

Acuvail side effects include but are not limited to increased intraocular pressure, conjunctival hemorrhage, and blurry vision.
