Directions

Abilify is an orally disintegrating tablet that should be placed directly on the tongue. Allow the tablet to dissolve in the mouth, and do not swallow it whole.

The Abilify dosage is different depending on the condition you are being treated for. Examples include:

  • Bipolar mania: Starting dose 10-15 mg daily and can be increased to a maximum of 30 mg daily
  • Major Depressive Disorder: Starting dose 2-5 mg daily and can be increased to a maximum of 15 mg daily
  • Schizophrenia: Starting dose 10-15 mg daily and can be increased to a maximum of 30 mg daily
