Directions

Standard dosage is to take one Xtandi tablet 1x a day and taken at the same time every day. Medication can be taken with or without food. Tablets should be swallowed whole; they should not be crushed, chewed, or dissolved in a liquid.

Dosage may vary based on your condition, and patients should always take their medication exactly as indicated in the prescription.

Cautions

Inform your doctor of any history of high blood pressure, seizures, brain injury, stroke, brain tumors, heart disease, heart attack, diabetes, high blood cholesterol or fats (triglycerides) or broken bones before beginning on Xtandi medication.

Medication should not be used by women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Men with a pregnant wife or partner should use a condom during sexual activity while using enzalutamide treatment and for 3 months after treatment finishes. Men with a female partner of childbearing age who is not pregnant should use a condom and another form of birth control while using this medication and for 3 months after their end of treatment with the medication.

Interactions
